The thing that pisses me off the most right now are the people who can not distinguish between a DROW and a WORLD OF WARCRAFT NIGHT ELF OR BLOOD ELF.

Let me enlighten you.

Drow: Stand Between 4’ 5” (extreme) and 5’ 9” (extreme).
Males are SHORTER than Females.
Females are BIGGER than Males.
Hair is white, silver or very, VERY pale yellow or bluish. Not golden, blue, black ect. Unless dyed said strange colour… other wise it shows mixed heritage
They live UNDERGROUND RARELY do they live on the surface… Not everyone and there brother is Drizzt Do’Urden…
(Yes for you dullards out there, I DO like Drizzt.)
There skin is DARK, not African American ( I mean no offence, I have many friends who are of African decent o o’ ) they are not Brown, tan or umber.
They are black, onyx, ebonyany member of the BLACK family.
There pale skin shades are slate, grey, cool grey any member of the GREY family.
In RARE cases do they have pale sapphire, pale violet or pale rose under tones to there skin, These tones are appropriately light or dark, the further down they are the less noticeable the pale undertones .
Any other skin tones means mixed heritage.
PERIOD.

Do any of these traits sound like a Night elf or a Blood elf to you?
Didn’t think so.

Night Elves are Purplish or Bluish they ride giant cats in the WOODS! > > Not very Drow to me…. … …

Blood Elves are Pale and Pasty as far as my understanding goes there not very Drow-ish either... … …

Since we are on the subject…Cos-playing Drow.

Make sure your wig is the Appropreat colour DON’T USE SPRAY COLOURS ON A DIFFERENT COLOURED WIG OR ON YOUR HAIR unless you have to…. If your character has streaks in it’s hair, Use hair extensions
Don’t use Halloween cream make up!
Here’s a tip, mix grey and or black Eye shadow with EXTREAMLY PALE foundation until it’s the colour you desire, put it on THIN like you would normal make up then once its DRY use the PALEST SETTING POWDER YOU CAN, AVOID WHITE! to add and UNDER TONE use JUST ENOUGH OF THE UNDER TONE COLOURED EYE SHADOW TO TINT THE PALE POWDER, DON’T OVER USE IT!
Avoid make-upping your hands if you can, buy a pair of nice gloves. If you HAVE to make up your hands, use the eye shadow foundation and spray it with GOOD hair spray. LET IT DRY BEFORE YOU TOUCH ANY THING!
Use GOOD QUALITY ELF EAR TIPS, follow the gluing instructions and make sure that you make up the ears THE SAME COLOUR AS YOUR SKIN.
For clothing, RESEARCH THE ATTIRE OF THE DROW and use decent quality items.
